Infrastructure and Operations Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented developer to improve our infrastructure into a robust, globally distributed, instantly deployable and auto-scalable system for use on public clouds (AWS/Rackspace/etc), private cloud (OpenStack/CloudStack), and as a virtual appliance on bare metal.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential issues in our infrastructure and help define how to monitor and fix them.

  • Architect, develop and test automation tools to deploy, monitor and scale our existing infrastructure.

  • Analyze and optimize our infrastructure for network efficiency and robustness

  • Collaborate with product team to review, prioritize and plan product requirements

Qualifications:

  • A broad set of skills (Java, C/C++, Ruby, Rails, Scaling/Capacity, High-Availability, etc)

  • Passionate about solving problems for the real world

  • Experience writing unit tests and testable code

  • Ability to effectively translate technical requirements into business solutions.

  • Able to work independently in a lean and agile development environment
